Grand Cayman – March 2018

Ah, Spring Break! Who doesn’t love to hear those words? And with variety being the spice of life, this year we chose to change things up a little and instead of visiting Turks and Caicos, we went to Grand Cayman and stayed on 7 Mile Beach. It was wonderful! The weather was perfect every day (80s and sunny) and the water was calm, blue and warm. Unlike many tropical destinations we’ve been to, Grand Cayman’s infrastructure is fully developed and completely modern. There are huge, 5-Star hotels, top of the line restaurants and entertainment is abundant. We rented a boat and went to Stingray City to swim with the stingrays and snorkel at Coral Gardens. Both experiences were awesome. The people are very friendly and welcoming with no language barriers, which made the overall trip even easier. Improvements to the airport are underway so that will hopefully speed up the process of arriving and departing, but otherwise I would put Grand Cayman at the top of our list of places to go back to!
